The law is in place in the North longer so that may go some way to explain the arrests you mentioned there.

I think ultimately it comes down to how the ladies conduct their business in certain areas that will attract the attention of the guards.

you can't compare the Garda Siochana and the PSNI

Stick to the Independent ladies (I know they are hard to find here) but you'll be ok.

And bring a few copper treats with you just in case.
