OK folks, I want to do a piece on what to do if you get stopped by the guards under this Nordic model bollocks. However, I actually don't know what to say so would love some advice for other punters from escorts and punters on this page.

Feel free to post any advice you have been given, or used in the recent years since this became more problematic

Rule number one;

Don't get caught! That way you don't get to speak to any cops! Don't be an eejit, use common sense, and don't look out of place and draw attention to yourself.

Remain calm and don't get flustered.
Be polite and courteous.
If asked for a name and address give it,but give very little information other than that.
Speak in your normal tone ,don't speak hurriedly or in a high pitched tone.
Look them in the eye in a friendly and non confrontational fashion.
Being in the vicinity of an apartment or an apartment building is not a crime.
If they suspect you may have committed an offence they may try to appear as your friend.They will appear sympathetic and ask you for your story.If you oblige ,one of them may begin writing it down and asking you to sign a statement. If you do you will have done their job for them and it will be presented as evidence. Give as little information as possible and do not sign a statement.
If caught "in flagrante delicto" they may use subtle pressure as in asking if you are married or about family,i.e. what would they think?
Try to appear indifferent or disinterested.They may lose interest in pursuing that line of manipulation.
If you think you've done something "en outré" and they may have you over a barrel-ask them if they are going to charge you with something-if not bye!
If they charge you ,accept your possible notoriety and fine or ask to speak to a solicitor to discuss your options(and try and choose a solicitor who may be au fait with the modern world not the guy who handled your grandfather's will and is also in The Legion of Mary.)

Above all ,be polite,be confident,be taciturn.

That's exactly it — look like you belong there and no one will question you.

You see some clowns wandering around with a phone to their ear looking totally lost and then repeating the door code out loudly as the lady tells them it If they meet anyone in the lift or on the corridor they nearly shit themselves — they stick out like a sore thumb!

I'm not going into details, it will take too long. Twice I have had interaction with the Garda where escorts were involved. It was because they recognize me so easily, it was not directly because of the escorts.

Long and short is, after they run her details through their system, they said to me "you're with a prostitute and you can be charged with that" as he takes out his notepad to start writing. My exact words were "she didn't tell me she was a prostitute, I never gave her any money". And that was it, the Garda had nothing more to say. It really was that simple.
Unless someone panics and tells on themselves, I don't see much to be afraid off.

Did they ask you for your phone?
Did you have a text exchange between you and the escort on your phone.
Did they go to her place after or while they were speaking to you, to check both your stories?
Was it a raid or were they just sitting there waiting for any punter to confess after visiting the escort.
Why are you recognisable to the Gardai?
You can ignore the last one if you like

I think your advice might be very helpful, a bit more than "Don't get caught" which in fairness is useless advice to a person who has just been caught .. unless he's carrying a time machine.

When they searched you and went through your texts arranging to meet, and had her number linking her to her escort profile they backed off and decided they didn't have enough proof? Really? They are hardly ever going to get better evidence than that off anyone, unless an undercover garda poses as an escort. That's good to know, but I'm not sure I believe it.
I've never stood on the street chatting to an escort. I feel a little disappointed in myself saying that

That a point to make is if the Lady got raided and police check her phone for number , are you liable to be prosecuted if your number and texts on her phone. It could be deem a meeting took place with the Lady.

Why I ask this , as friend of mine 2 years back meeting a Lady here on site and she got caught in raid along with another Lady and a Romanian pimp gent. To which a old man in 70s was arrest also. But my friend number was on her phone a week before that raid took place.They use to text each other a lot when she was in the area. Both Ladies where sent home and lost the money , to which the pimp was charge also. But way the new law now is more strict and thankfully he was never contact by police then.

But that is a concern , as your texts could get Lady into trouble if a client caught and your phone check. So it work both way and Ladies business is crucial to discretion from clients. Be extra careful now , as the law not do us any favour.

I've met a few escorts on the street and in shops. There is a hub of escorts living in the same area in D1 so it's no big deal to meet them outside there.

No, I do believe you. I think you spend a huge amount of time in the company of escorts and get on fairly well with them. Most of what you say rings true. If I was to speculate my guess wouldn't be that you're lying about this, more like you may rent properties to escorts or something along those lines. But that's pure speculation, I've nothing to back that up.
I'm aware of areas where there are escorts staying and going out and about to the shops or for coffee. I just wouldn't talk to them in that situation. Probably weird of me.
