How much to give partner out of paycheck

Hi all just wondering if i earn €500 weekly how much should i or would you hand up to your partner .. We have 2 kids together as well .. Just curious to see what is considered fair ...i hand over €250 is that fair

I have less than that for a month to my name after the bills are paid off, but I have no kids, just a dog to look after.
But depending how much the other half earns, I would say that half seems only fair.
