Based on a true story maybe. But then, all the stories about World War Two are "based on a true story" too. Aeroplanes exist, and sometimes crash, so the "Airplane" series is "based on a true story."
Always a good question to ask with regard to statistics, "Did someone carry out a proper scientific study." If not, how do they know? Did they just make it up?

If you said "more than half of the profiles" you would be a bit nearer the mark, but the dodgy ones tend not to be the ones getting the reviews and getting discussed on here.
A documentary that "exposed" independent professional ladies who rent their own apartments, are visited often by discreet regulars, and make a decent living giving them wonderful safe clean fun, will probably not get funding. I can personally vouch that there are many of them out there, and you don't have to be a genius to identify them.
