Actually it means the add was put on pause.

The add goes from 1 day to 1 month and you get to choose when to pause, (if u wanna pause it) ur add from showing up... thats what on a break means.

All the non-advertising profiles also show the "on break" message. Maybe the escorts aren't aware of this as I recall previously reading on here somewhere that the escort user type doesn't have a favorites page???

That gives me an idea actually. When someone new joins, they should first be automatically directed to the newbie thread and then have to click on something at the bottom to say that they have read it, much like those agreements you sign on other websites where you sign up to something? Not fool proof by any means, but it's a start right?
