our neighbours are happily married 69 years, that is just crazy and amazing, would not happen nowadays

My parent's 59th Anniversary is December 25th. The current story (which has grown a little over the years by my recollection) is they got married in a blizzard and the best man had to drive an old John Deere tractor through 6 ft snow drifts to pick the minister up and get him to the ceremony. They obviously still have a sense of humor too.

That's not a picture from 1959. Damn cold looking though.

Beautiful so beautiful Nina brought tears to my eyes early this morning I love that this exists in the world . here is another that absolutely got me also hope you do not mind me posting this saw it a few years ago
