Hi there,

We do at times ask random first time reviewers to provide us with some information, such as the address.
However, if that person feels uncomfortable in providing such details, then we would accept landmarks such as a bank, shopping centre, a pub or bar, something that we know will prove that the information provide proves the review to be genuine.

At times, if an escort claims a review to be fake, they may provide us with the address and want us to require the full address from the punter to prove that the review if fake or not.
So in these cases, a full address is usually then required.

Much of the time, we are happy to receive a screenshot, providing there being enough information to go by.

Where is the information kept?
For what legal purpose are you asking for it?
Why have the paying advertisers not been advised of this? They should be allowed to opt in or out of this personal information collecting without it having a negative impact on their business.

Its very alarming.

As casman had stated, an escort had disputed over the fact he had met her.
Unfortunately this happens nearly on a everyday basis and so we do require some information from the punter, such as a location, maybe a screenshot.
Either of these is enough information for us activate or have the review deleted (depending on the case)

As mentioned before, if the punter doesn't have screenshots or doesn't wish to share the address, then this is not an issue for us.
A landmark or anything close by would be fine to give, something that can prove to us that they had met the escort.
If any information is refused, then there is a possibility that the review could be deleted.

Many escorts do in fact provide us with a location or ask us to provide the location that was given to the punter to prove if the facts are true.
Any information is kept for for our eyes only which is posted in our private notes only, these notes cannot be seen by anybody else, but ourselves only.

Privacy and security is very important for everybody on our site and we always do our best to keep any information private.

When we do ask for this form of information is usually for first time reviewers, and for when a review has been reported as fake.

is E-I compliant with all of its obligations as a data controller and processor under current GDPR rules?
If so, then anything provided voluntarily by either an advertiser or member is their own responsibility.

Do you mean you ask the Escort if it is ok to ask the reviewer for her address before you ask the reviewer for it?

Of course an escort who has her own apartment may not agree but if the apartment is rented to others they may agree as they would likely be less concerned for the apartments privacy.

I agree with English Alex that asking for the escort's exact address is a step too far.
But as far as I can see it only comes up if an escort contests a review. It's up to her then how far she takes it to prove they never met. So I think you'd know if anyone went through this with your profile. That's just from what I read here. I've never been asked for any proof before.

I can understand exact address but to ask for screen shots of calls is simply ridiculous, most clients delete all info before seeing escort or on leaving as know I do.
E-I only asks for address if first time reviewer or the escort has disputed the review, bung E-I a few bob and bob's your uncle

The same thing happened to me. Did not feel comfortable providing the required information.

First review and a positive one. Asked for both screen shots and hotel name and room number.

Guess that there has to be checks and balances, but this kind of put me a little off reviews in general.

Hope I wont be banned for quoting from a PM but this is part of a message I received recently from a supermod.

Could you please confirm that you did see the escort?
The time and date of the booking?
What location (address details/room number/name of hotel) did you meet the escort?
And could you please provide a screenshot of any SMS or phone calls that may have taken place?

I did provide some info and was asked for more. I've decided to leave the review hanging. The escort in question only has 2 reviews, both positive and probably faked imo.
