You know, just before I head to 'mo leaba' (that's Irish for 'my bed'), anyone who grew up in and before the 80's and 90's I think can appreciate the old school style of things. Look at the old arcade classics, Pac-Man, Space Invaders, etc. Graphically, they're extremely simple by today's standards. Stone age simple. But at their time they were revolutionary. I think the same can be said for most technology. Young people these days would look back at things like that, 'stone age tech' by todays standards, and laugh. No appreciation of it whatsoever. And yet in 20 years time, that generation may well be the same towards the tech of today. I guess what I'm saying is, if I'm saying anything, is that old tech should always be appreciated just as much as modern tech, maybe even more so. Because that is where it all started. Even in a digital world, we should still accept the importance of analogue.
