There are various aspects of this post I want to address so for ease of reading, I'll use colour coordination:

Red: even so, it's 9/11 and today is 9/9. Regardless of the yanks' silly time formatting (like seriously, what logic is there putting the month before the day? What's next, putting minutes before the hour??)

Blue: I can tolerate their abuse of centre somewhat, but there's no excuse for spelling colour without a u.....
