IMO moderation team should try to keep this in mind when deciding what language, what behavior

they would aim to cultivate on a forum where the ‘paying customers’ are a vulnerable entity .

I have read this thread, and considered what contribution I wanted to make.

Firstly this is the most intelligent and thoughtful post on this thread. Dr B clearly did not deserve a ban. I have changed my avatar in support of his views.

As long as the mods can not decipher between decent posters/ clients and trolls, not only will this place - the forums - not improve, but also we have no hope of normalising the sale and purchase of sexual services in our wider society. If even the mods of a website like this treat honest clients in this way, then we have no hope of a broader change.

Secondly we have had many comments recently about how this place is being given over to trolls with few decent clients posting any more, and even fewer escorts. If the mods are happy to piss off their advertisers and those of us who supply their income stream, then they are going about things the right way. And soon enough EI will be forgotten, with escorts and clients finding other ways to make their arrangements. Nothing is sacred, and things move on. Ita fiat, esto.

Thirdly anyone who wants to parade their ignorance as to the meaning of Dr Bagehot’s name is welcome to do so on this tread. A simple google search will reveal him to be a 19th century English economist, who now has an opinion piece in the Economist named after him.

You have a responsibility to protect the integrity of this forum and the site.

Whilst this is clear to any right thinking human being, the mods just don’t seem to get it. Their behaviour is irrational whichever way you look at it. Somehow they feel themselves to be above listening to the concerns of clients and are happy to preside over a forum populated by trolls and devoid of girls and interesting and original topics.

Not telling them how to do their jobs but just to do their job.
Turning off clients adds to their business model how?
