When I read that article I was kinda wondering the same myself Stephanie.

What are the laws in Japan where this doll was imported from ?

Obviously possession and distribution of child pornography has to be prohibited to protect the children been abused in these videos.

But , I do believe there ARE men who are Not looking for the human touch ,

IMO : ppl who purchase such dolls (child size / juvenile appearing dolls) should be

acknowledged , interviewed , make sure they know they are kept track of and let

them at it , so long they're keeping company only with the Doll and not engaging

in predatory behavior nor seek nor possess real life child pornography , let them

under supervision .

I do believe there is the mental 'illness' , mental 'defect' where one is attracted to

an inappropriate object or person . I do believe there's a difference between having

feelings of pedophilia or Acting on those feelings and actually abusing a child .

And then there are those who simply abuse the easiest target for abuse's sake and children

are the easiest targets .

But in cases where it is an innate sexual attraction to children but the adult recognizes

that it is wrong and unacceptable to actually act out those feelings and desires , I think

allowing such dolls in very strict circumstances may benefit society and possibly lower the

prevalence of child pornography where Real Life children are abused for adults' sexual gratification .
