There's a great clip on youtube where the guy in charge of the actual rescue team basically tells Musk to shove his rescue pods up his ass.

Ah,i did feel a little twinge of pity for him there
lots of people were calling him out on twitter that he had and should do something with
all his money and tech
and he prob felt he had to react to it

That twinge went away quickly of course when he started calling a rescuer a paedophile!!!!!!!!!!

For a brief moment I thought and hoped that he was gonna display some genuine altruism and prove me wrong.
That libellous remark against an actual rescuer was a new low, even for him.

Was the final nail in the coffin for me. I always thought there was something off about him. That little episode was the one piece of undeniable proof I needed.

Can't recall the details 100%, or 50% even, but it was with regards to that kids football team that was trapped in a cave somwhere (somewhere in Asia I think?). Was one of the men that rescued them that he made the almost paedophile like comments about. That was only a couple of weeks back.

It was Chang Rai ; football coach (idiot) took the team of young boys Cave-exploring in the rainy season .

They got lost and were stuck for some two weeks ?

Elon to the rescue with press announcement that they're building a 'pod' (stupid idea given the terrain) .

One veteran rescuer died .

All kids got out .

I can even paint the shape of the cave and the 'choke-point' , kids rescued by two divers each ,

they had to swim underwater more than a km in murky water . Miracle they got out .
