If you proclaim yourself to be a true socialist, then apply the principles. Socialism advocates that everyone should have an equal chance at all opportunities in life. One of the fundamental pillars of socialism is social assistance/welfare. This is the redistribution of wealth that socialism advocates as being equitable.

Therefore, you should adjust your rates so that those who are on welfare can avail of your services equally as the person who can afford whatever rate you charge.

Now, will you adjust your rates so that you comply with your socialist principles and give every man the opportunity to visit you? Oh, one more thing, since OAP's are entitled to free bus pass, over 70 health card (if they qualify), etc, there should be no charge for them to visit you.

So, yes or no, will the welfare recipients have a reduced rate while the OAP's get a free monthly shag??? Of course, you would be entitled to ask for proof of whether the individual receives welfare or is an OAP.

Remember, if your answer is no, then you are a capitalist and a traitor to the socialist principles that you proclaim to hold dear to your heart.

We have no need for such a card because money exists. If you're unemployed, you get money and can use it as you wish.

I have no problem with the government giving some money to people who can't afford basic clothes, foods and a shag. After all, back in primitive times people could go out and get food etc. themselves, we're supposed to have progressed from that.

But pure socialism or especially communism means the government gets incredibly big and incredibly corrupt. For example look at Ireland... pure socialism. Huge amount of government jobs that are unnecessary.... corruption in the gardai, the healthcare system... everything. Big government is not good... they're too powerful and take everything and can do anything.

I am speaking in jest. Just having fun. However, in response to your comment, the real problem is not big government or a bloated bureaucracy. It is the lack of transparency and accountability. This is why you have corruption. There is nothing in place to hold government and all its agencies/boards/departments/commissions accountable.

Now, what I want to know is whether Anitasizzle is going to say YES to reduced rates for welfare folks and a free monthly shag for OAP's. If she is not prepared to say YES, then she better stop spouting about being a true socialist.

Basically all those entitled to free medical benefits and transport would be entitled to a free therapeutic and hole-istic shag once a forthnight i.e. OAPs would get it free on the medical card. The unwaged and full time students (18+ years) with a valid student ID card, would receive concessionary rates (50% discount). All others pay the market rate.

Futhermore, in order to stimulate the tourist business, tourists who book a holiday of at least one weeks duration (must include at least one Saturday overnight) in either the Republic or Northern Ireland through Tourism Ireland, would receive a voucher which entitles them to a 25% discount off their first punt (basically compensates for the €10 travel tax).

This will cover the standard basic service. Extras must be paid for directly to the service provider.
