What happened??

I'm pretty sure this is his first ban, he's always so careful as to not go overboard.

Not got a clue why I was banned , reported a neg rep as per norm , told it was passed on to floki.
Got a pm saying my visitor message to a profile page was deleted and try to go on in the morning and I’m banned .
No pm and nothing. As you said here I’m careful how I post so as to avoid a ban.
Funny I’m the one being provoked and end up getting banned !!!!

One would assume that the member being banned should at least get a PM outlining their offence. How else can one learn not to repeat the same offence again should they not realise where they offended - especially if it was say a mistake in the first place?

I wasn’t talking about lifetime bans - only temporary bans! When their ban ends they will have access to their PM’s

I was banned (due to a misunderstanding). I was sent emails when I asked why, but they went to my spam folder so I didn't notice them for a while.
