Why is there a complete lack of dominatrixes in Cork? There are more than a dozen good dominatrixes in the Dublin area. Over the past few months I have been lucky enough to book a few of those while up in Dublin. These are fully equipped ladies in proper dungeon environments and they were very enjoyable appointments. Whereas in Cork we are lucky to get one or two proper dominatrixes (not escorts who think that because they've bought a whip from Ann Summers makes them fully fledged professional Dominatrix!) who may visit for a short period once a month or so. Yes before someone says it I know I can save my money and book them when they come for that few days once a month but that is not my point. There surely is a big enough gap "in the market" for a proper prodomme to visit here a bit more regularly. Rant over!

Tony1 the site you are talking about was taken offline recently due to FOSTA. Apart from the site being taken offline most of the "Prodommes" advertising on it were either fake profiles or as I mention above Escorts who've bought a whip and think they're a professional dominatrix. I also want to be clear that I am not having a go at those escorts who do light domination! They're clearly are punters looking for that too but that is not what I am referring to above.

In the middle between the two is the group which I believe you are referring to. I have contacted some of these and I am not prepared to tribute nearly 150% of the "standard domination" tribute rate when the "domme" is not at least somewhat equipped.

In my own experience the best punts I have had when visiting Dominatrixes are with those who have invested in equipping themselves with "the tools of the trade". I have visited travelling dominatrixes who visit/used to visit Cork over the years who have brought the kitchen sink and then some. And yes it is going to be very easy to argue that what I am saying is that the amount of stuff a dominatrix has is what deciphers her from being a good or a bad dominatrix. That is not what I am saying. Those who are looking to/have invest/ed in equipment/themselves(experience) to cater for a larger range of fetishes are those who I have had the best bookings with rather than those who look at it as, to quote a response I got recently, "they deserve it".

But hey this is plain and simple supply and demand at the end of the day. As far as I can see there is a demand but not enough supply and we all know that ends up being a licence to "request" what you want then if you are the person controlling the supply.

I also feel, and a lot of other who are interested in similar fetishes to me will agree, that trust is a big thing with this sort of stuff and I personally will not trust someone who requests a tribute like above because they feel they deserve it. That kind of person is only thinking about themselves and not their clients and that to me is a big no no for my own safety as at times with some fetishes you are putting your life in their hands. I'm not looking for a findom who has expanded into real life sessions.

And lastly what I am looking for is quite readily available in Dublin and even more so in the UK which is why I don't understand why we don't get more in Cork, even on the travelling side. Unfortunately it is easier said than done for me to travel to these places due to commitments here in Cork.
