The Red Devils will now have to settle for the third place playoff. I would now make Les Bleus the favourites to lift the trophy regardless of who they play on Sunday.

In today`s semi final England-Croatia could be another tense match. Croatia have the better quality players but they are likely to be tired after going to extra time and penalties against Russia. I could see this match going much the same way and I will forecast a 1-1 draw and another shootout.

Definitely a game of two halves. England could have been 3-0 ahead at half time while Croatia were in control and had the better chances of the second half. Will there be a winner in extra time or is it heading for another shootout?

You were right about the 1-1 draw and it could yet go to a shootout. England were the best team in the first half and croatia the best in the 2nd half. So maybe a draw is a fair result.

The 1-1 prediction is for 120 minutes. I may yet be proven right on that.
