It has almost 23,000 signatures at the moment!

While it is more directly related to his performance during the repeal debate, where he was an active NO to removing the article equating a woman's life in value terms to a foetus, he was also a zealous supporter of the new law which has caused so many problems for sex workers, at least he is very consistent in his believes!

I have signed it and would also urge you to do so, if possible!
    Thank You TL
There is another more effective way of doing this. He was voted into the Seanad through the universities. Get NUI Alumni to register and vote.

But I don't know any NUI Alumni.
My wife caught me wearing ladies underwear and threatened to leave me.
So I packed up all her clothes
    And left.

We cannot start calling for people to be removed or fired, every time they disagree with your view. That is what Heinrich Himmler or Stalin did. And I am bipolar, so what Mullen said applies to me more than other people.

Senators are not elected, this man did not earn his position. Given his views contrast so much with the public maybe he should step down and allow someone else more in touch with the Irish voter to fill his position.

He was elected to the Seanad, by the alumni of NUI, topped the poll as well I believe

It's the public he's supposed to represent. Senators should be elected by the public.
Let's get rid of Martin Conway next. Another FG failed politician awarded a job he doesn't deserve.

Didn't enda try to get rid of the Seanad, didn't work, but maybe its time for a bit of a kick up the ass regards how candidates are selected. I don't think that its necessary to have another general election but could we require that all candidates seek the approval of a citizens assembly.

The only way you can do that democratically is to have a degree from an NUI university and then not vote for him at the next NUI seanad election. To remove him in any other way is fascism. BTW I'm no Ronan Mullen supporter.

Martin Conway and Aodhan O Riordan campaigned to have the Seanad abolished. Now they work there because the public wouldn't elect them.
    Enough said.

Most senators are appointed, in fairness to Mullen he got himself elected, I agree it shouldn't just be graduates who have a vote, what we need to do is reform the seanad, not just remove Mullen
