Several people have been been killed in the city of Muenster, in western Germany after a van drove into pedestrians.
The driver of the vehicle has killed himself.
About 30 people are reported injured in the incident, which occurred near the Kiepenkerl statue in the old town.
Looks like another terrorist incident.

You should try and temper that,admittedly natural,reaction
when you consider some other facts

1 : Millions of muslims all around the world live in multi cultural communities peacefully and the fanatics
actions do not speak for them
It would be like people from other countries assuming you're in the IRA because you're irish

2 : This is exactly the reaction the extremists want from us with their attacks
they want the rise of nationalism in the west with a backlash against all muslims,which in turn will turn
more people to their cause

The first reports I heard were saying the driver had shot himself which didn't sound like any jihadist Muslim attacker.
They normally either die as a result of the attack or may be shot or detained by authorities.
I remember after the 2004 Madrid train bombings a guy I was working with mentioning ETA(and Aznar was mouthing off about ETA In the immediate aftermath) however I immediately thought Muslim extremists,neither the IRA nor ETA would have been best served by inflicting massive civilian casualties.
