So in the end Dublin win by 10 points. They looked to be on the ropes at half time but it was a completely different story in the second half. A classic example of a game of two halves. Yet another decade goes by without an All Ireland title for Mayo and the Dubs are now just one match away (barring a replay) from the historic five in a row. Will Kerry or Tyrone stop them? I would be very doubtful.

This should be a close match and it`s hard to call. I will go for Tyrone to win narrowly, maybe by 1 or 2 points.

Just like yesterday a game of two halves. So the Kingdom will try to stop the Dubs winning the five in a row at the start of September. I wonder will this be the end of Mickey Harte`s time as Tyrone manager?

Earlier in the day Galway made it three in a row minor hurling titles.

Final score :Tipp 3-25,Kilkenny 20 points.
Tipp take their 31st final to lie second to Kilkenny's 36.
Kilkenny finish as runners up for the 27th time.

Actually Tipp have now won 28 All Ireland titles so still a fair bit of ground to make up on Kilkenny`s record. After todays heavy defeat I wonder will Brian Cody call it a day as Kilkenny boss?
