One right and one wrong barney, a bit like your school exams, lol. Great win for monaghan. He was a brave man to go for that winning goal and his team a point down. Had he missed he would have been a villian, now he's a hero.

A feast of football this weekend with ten games down for decision. Some of them alot easier call than others. Dublin, kerry , sligo and clare should all have easy wins. But who will win these games, cavan v armagh, down v donegal and roscommon v galway. Will home advantage be of any benefit? Westmeath v louth and offaly v meath could also be close.

The hurling championship also starts this weekend. Its nigh on impossible to look beyond limerick winning it outright but who will be their nearest challengers. Waterford v limerick and clare v tipp should be good games this weekend.

I expect Armagh will be much too strong for Cavan despite home advantage.
Rian O ‘ Neill available for Armagh after a quad injury, is a massive bonus.

I think it might be close enough, cavans spirit will be up after the league . I'll go for a draw extra time to separate them.

I agree Ketchup, it all depends on what way Armagh play the game.

If they play attacking football like Monaghan last week they could go far this year.

But if they revert to their league form, back passing and fuckin about, they won't get out of Breffni.

I've backed the draw myself, odds for Armagh were shite.

Delighted for my neighbours. They can be hard to listen to at times but me other neighbours are far worse.

    Especially delighted for Vinnie Corry.

Kerry win by 20pts, sligo win by 16pts and will be in the all ireland group stages. Will new york be in the tailteann cup now? Were they in it last year?

I honestly don't know Ketchup. If they are and get a home draw that would be quite a fixture for 1 of the lower league teams. Doubt it though.

The cavan armagh game mustn't be on telly. Its a pity rte or bbc wouldn't show it. Bbc showed the armagh v antrim game, this should be a more attractive fixture.
