Tough game for Cavan at home to Down , hopefully a 2 or 3 point win for Cavan .

Laois must have finished strongly as they won it 1-14 to 0-14.

Meath hammered wexford 2-23 to 12pts. Maybe colm o rourke will win a trophy yet in his first season with them . They seem to be improving as the year goes on.

Tipp gave Offaly an awful hammering in the hurling, 7-38 to 3-18. Imagine scoring 45 times in the one game. Plenty for their supporters to shout about, they play galway next.
