Our little problems all become nothing when you hear of someone taken far too young. It was good of her daughter to let us know. A thread does not seem enough to acknowledge her brave and selfless work on our behalf.

I knew Laura well, I was often with her on demos and protests in Belfast. We had many nights out and in, fighting the good fight and now she is gone. I was very lucky to have her as a friend, she helped me so many times and gave me the power to help others when I could. I will continue to do so, to the best I can. I am devestated and can not begin to imagine how her daughter is feeling, and her family. God really has called back one of his angels.
She was an amazing woman, doing to much on the front line to help sex workers and on the down low giving advise to those who needed it. She was a strong woman, a great mother, an incrediable activist. Single handedly taking on the corrupt goverment of Northern Ireland and trying to over turn this ridiculas law. I will miss her dearly.... I hope this attached link is okay, its to offer financal support to her daughter with what she is about to have to deal with.
