Was hoping to see the views from the ladies as well, but some of the posts so far are amusing
I chose a name to reflect my flamboyant personality, my love for the arts and of course my rich knowledge and talent for modern dance

As long as the person is professional, polite and knows exactly what he is looking for a username is not an issue. Most of us on an online environment hide behind a personna. Usually when meeting them in real life I found that most of the users have a physical trait that would immediately link to their username. Not all of the cases apply to that rule. However, as I previously said, if you’re polite and kind I’m not bothered by a funny/weird username.
Although at a 9-5 job an application coming from a funny name wouldn’t look too professional.(depending on how the employer’s sense of humour)
