I am surprised to hear that there are so many no-shows from punters. Presumably it is as a result of being suddenly side-tracked by 'real life' business while about to go on a punt - but there is no excuse for not sending a text. On the few occasions where I have been in punt mode but been interrupted by something else I have found that text were usually (though not always - not that I am precious about that) replied to with gratitude.

I don't want to sidetrack to topic or get into whataboutery but I went a fair bit out of my way into a block of apartments in Dublin 1 for an appointment with a lady and was literally outside her block of apartments and got no answer to my final phone call. Would have had no problem waiting for a while but no contact whatsoever was disappointing to say the least. Must have wasted an hour at least n that experience when I could have met another girl instead.

The worst case of that was one time in a hotel near my home I was outside the lady's hotel room when the calls dried up. Had been in contact with her after I reached the hotel and was even given the hotel room number but there was no answer when I knocked. Couldn't believe it! Why would someone do that?!

If you cancel an appointment I don’t think you should be paying for the cancellation but if you don’t bother to turn up and haven’t let the escort know, that’s a different story altogether. No shows don’t give a toss about our time and if someone doesn’t have the decency to at least send a text beforehand they should be hung drawn and quartered. Slight exaggeration but it’s so rude it’s unreal. We take time, energy, effort and money to be ready for our clients. They have an obligation to let us know they can’t make it.
Basic manners isn’t it.

If someone does this stupid time wasting rubbish with me I won’t accept anothet appointment from then unless they pay a deposit in advance. I have no time at all for that shit.

i hate accidently meeting other punters especially if there younger, better looking, fitter and look like they have more money than me. so because i'm no oil painting and getting on a bit i guess that means i hate most of ye fuckers

One lady I visited a few years ago had a very good way of dealing with no shows.
When I phoned her she told me that she was pretty much booked for the day but could she phone me if she had a no show. I agreed and less than an hour later she phoned me.
When I produced enough cash for an hour, she said that she only really had a half hour available but that I could stay until the next client confirmed, if that was OK and I that i make a speedy exit.
Well I was still there 90 minutes later when I decided myself not to overstay my welcome.
Sadly, it seems that she is now retired. She hasn't toured here in more than a year.

I working this way as well. Never double book, never even been tempted to do it. No confirm, no appointment. End of the story. And then I can call or text next gentleman who told me to do it if i have any cancelation. Very easy and works well.

But still a lot of time wasters. Even these who waste my time to call again and again when i tell them you waste my time last time so no chance to do it again. Then they are in shock and their response is: oh ok, sorry, no problem, understandable, get your point, give me another chance. When i try that there was one or two guys who waste my time twice a day. Since then. Nope. No chance anybody to do that again. I rather do my things then waste my time on these assholes.

The case in the hotel was a bit odd as unlike the apartment arrangement there was only about a minute between my last contact with her and arriving at the hotel door. As it happens she has never been in Dublin since that so she must have been in the process of heading away, but still would have been nice not to have been led up the garden path!
