    Default Waking up in pain

Woke up this morning jumping out of bed due to sudden pain 1 hour early than I should have woken up.
My calf muscle had started to pull. It was fucking painful.

It has been over 5 hours now and still hurts a lot now.

This has happened to me a few time in the past, it is not very pleasant at all.
Had anybody else endure this soothing sensation while sleeping? I know that my hamstring went a few times too, even once during sex, not very nice at all, I was unable to walk for a few hours.

After quickly reading this link, it seems that I may not have been drinking enough water.

I do drink quite a bit of milk as it is.

You should drink plenty of water, magnesium also good. Electrolytes might be out of balance . I presume you know best way to relieve this cramp is to invert your big toe as much as possible in leg where cramp is, if necessary pull your big toe up towards you to 90 degree angle upwards.. If it is persistent it can be related to injuries elsewhere . I would if it is not improving consult your GP on it TBH .

I deal with pain due to injuries a lot one of its insidious effects is to lower your quality of sleep without you even noticing so get it checked sooner rather than later if it persists

Sorry just saw your onto water already.

Cheers guys for the advise, I will try magnesium and see if that helps.
I know I haven't drank as much water in the pass couple of days, so maybe that is the main cause of it.

In the past, I have pulled the same muscle a few times, so maybe it's due to an old injury and not enough water.
It's been 6 hours, the muscle isn't pulling, but still painful, but I will get over it
