Is it just me who finds the the phrase ``using an escort'' disturbing? Escorts are people, not things. I visit escorts or I see escorts, but I don't use escorts, or at least I hope I don't. Am I reading too much into people's choice of words, or does this phrase really reflect an unhealthy attitude?

i think you reading too much into it. punters use escorts for sex, escorts use punters for money.

its where theres mis-use where the problems arise.
