I think it's case by case. Westerns are also quite attractive to Asians (I've been in Asia, and my hotel room virtually had revolving door of native chicks). So I think it's mixed. But nonetheless, it's not appropriate to brandish everyone with the same brush. You should think twice about being stereotypical as you might find yourself in a situation where you have to defend yourself to people with your current opinion and not understand why they don't get it.
