Edit : You can book a taxi or limo through it but not a private citizen's vehicle like elsewhere.

I agree one of the best area's in dublin. And if you don't fancy going into the city centre there are a few nice bars and restaurants near by.

Usually e/c-class 5/7 series about 5-10 eur more than normal uber but many taxi drivers are clueless in Dublin anyway, also it's a nice treat

Grand canal is good choice, used to live there for years, but that's history now
