Then I have to disagree there.
There's a lot of subject matter in this show that is contemporary.
The greater good and the sacrifices of the few to defend it for the many is a key part of it.
It would have been too easy to feed the righteous retribution vein if it had been one of his team mates.
There's really no questioning motives when the scenario is that black and white.
Good guy who's never did bad gets done wrong by, suffers, but finally prevails.
That's not Frank Castle.
C'mon.
Hang up the preconceptions and open your mind.
You'll love it more if you do.
