Pleasing the masses is always the easier role for politicians, after all it is the masses who vote them back into their jobs.
If they legalized the sex industry it would make things safer for both escorts and clients, and from the taxes raised how many people would get better health care as a result. Sounds like a simple situation but our politicians would manage to f*ck that up as well.
