Why would anyone risk visiting escorts in Ireland. One thousand euro fine or 5 years in jail is just not worth it. Your name in the paper could ruin the rest of your life. There are other options out there do you think the escorts care what happens you.

I suppose it all down to what you got to lose and with Ruhuma putting on the pressure its only a matter of time before there's a few arrests to shut the cu*ts up for a while.

I imagine it would take only 1-2 "crackdowns" on Ruhama to change things. If only a couple of escorts would show up wherever Ruhama is given a platform to spout lies, and they would be protesting loudly saying they're ok with what they do, they aren't victims of trafficking and so on...
But escorts would rather take their business elsewhere than do something about it. SWAI won't do anything either I guess.
People who don't stand up for their rights get what they deserve, sooner or later.

I'd say if it went to court the ladies would have to show up as well I'd like to see a test case before they arest some one it's a law that doesn't make sense to consenting adults every walk of life visits ladies gaurds politicains priests lawyers labourers builders farmers u name the lists goes on
And lastly the ladies on here do care what happens they are the same as us I always think of the night I visited a ladie in dublin never met her b4 had a mighty time a great chat it went on for 4 or 5 hours talking and when I was going she ordered and paid my taxi i objected she still paid they are all good they show in different ways

I don't think you read my message. I wasn't suggesting clients do that. They wouldn't stand up for rather obvious reasons. Not as long as the freedom to pay for sex is the only item on the agenda, and not in this country anyway. But nothing would make Ruhama's "facts" look more ridiculous than people who they claim to speak for showing up and making them look like incompetent liars.

Most escorts value their privacy, for perfectly valid reasons, just as much as any client. They may be quite negatively affected were they to go public.

I read your post perfectly. My point is it is easy to call on others to be brave or forthcoming but when put in a similar situation most people will behave exactly the same.
