A huge pat on the back to the likes of SWAI who helped in this prosecution & I have nothing but admiration for the girls who came forward. This new law, pushed through on false statistics & blatant lies from Ruhama, with no consideration given to the issues raised by SWAI & sex workers, has allowed this individual to carry out such attacks. Ruhama you have made things so much easier for the likes of this individual & pimps to attack sex workers, Ruhama you have played right into their hands. Nothing to be proud of in my opinion.
The new law has nothing to do with protecting sex workers, this was yet another lie bandied about by Ruhama.

Actually, with these savage attacks, this law is achieving one of its main intended consequences - to make life hell on earth for sex workers!
It is the only law bar one ever enacted in The Republic with an intention of causing deliberate harm to innocent people! The other being the even more misogynistic - 8th Ammendment, which in equating a woman's life in value terms to a foetus, has actually cost the lives of very real women!
It is now time for Ruhama and other major Torler groups to be shut down and have all their assets confiscated by the state.
Tanasty Frances Fitzgerald, the towering intellectual giant, behind this law, should be made to resign with immediate effect and her gross pensions taken off her!

You know what makes this case and other cases like it even sadder is that if these women were'nt in the sex industry and they came forward it would have made a lot more headlines and the media would have been all over it.
A guy accused of raping possibly 12 women. But just because they are sex workers it just seems that their lives are not as important and people don't care as much. Which for me is extremely sad. I only hope they can eventually get over their ordeal and that asshole gets what's coming to him.
