this seems to b kinda an urban legend, both that Galway gets overwhelmed by escorts during race week and that there are loads of raids.

For a few days, Galway had similar numbers advertised here as Cork(during race week) , for a couple of days it had slightly more. It has now reverted back to normal with far more in Cork. As a man who conducts extensive research on here, of course, you'll know that one swallow doesn't make a summer. We'll see what happens next year.
