I became seriously addicted to the girls within this industry about ten years ago and this continued for three years to the point where I met a girl and things took off with us for a while until she got in trouble with the law. Visit refused and this continued for two days when I found out that she had been deported.
As a result of this and everything that went with it, I lost my job as my vetting was withdrawn and I ended up in a very rough place (depression). A dark and extremely desperate time was spent battling with my own mind for the next eighteen months or so and eventually I met a girl who turned all that around.
All was going well up to about six months ago, when we just looked at each other and we were suddenly just friends, there was nothing else there but the habitual comfort of companionship.
So what did I do, I came back here, but this time I joined the forum and got involved in the banter and the craic. And contributed to some of the more serious conversations here. All of which I enjoyed.
Some absolutely genuine, honest the goodness people here, both clients and escorts. You know who you are.
But of course there are come complete and utter assholes as well, we all know who they are.
So to get to the point.
I left this evening to go and visit a girl up the country, about an hours drive. I was just on my way back home when I received a phone call to say that home was after being robbed as my partner slept soundly. She was in absolute bits as was I when we realized how much worse this could have turned out.
Material things can be replaced but what could have happened to her as she was alone in the house does not bear thinking about.
So... I am not losing everything again for my own self gratification and selfishness.

I don't see what's bad about a guy trying to use a woman and the woman ending up with the upper hand. God help the escorts if all clients are as clingy and needy as the majority of posters. Everyone started this with their eyes open. Escorts sell sex and a fantasy by the hour. That's terrific. If guys can't deal with that it's time to pack it in. To a large extent I blame the type of posting I see happen where clients are desperate to demonstrate that they are just a little more special to their favourite escort than the next guy with money in his pocket. Don't blame the escorts for lying, that's what we asked them to do when we showed up at the door with cash in exchange for 'time and companionship'. If they're good at it and we're not emotionally equipped to deal with it then that's on us.

Sorry to the opening poster that the guard clocked you. You should have sued. You should talk openly to your partner about your relationship and both your sexual needs. Staying together as a friends couple while you get sexual gratification from escorts or affairs will lead you back to a place of depression. The dishonesty will eat at you and send you there.
