Tip 1,try to avoid placing yourself in locations where you might be attacked to begin with. Such as taking that short cut through the unlit alleyway at 4am, or whatever.

pepper spray while legal in most of europe is illegal here LLLLL so if a girl got raided it could bump up the charges on her, Deep Heat does a similar job but not as good maybe 30% effective I would guess.
Different things serve different purposes ie: if a guy was attacking with his bare hands Deep Heat or pepper spray would be a huge advantage to a girl where the technique I suggested with a jacket would be ridiculous........ and visa versa the jacket or towel wrapped around the arm I believe is the only real defense for untrained people against a knife attack and I dont believe pepper spray would be very effective.

Run where ? There is one door into the bedroom and he is blocking it. Where does the girl run to ?

If an attacker is close enough to stab you get something between you (table, chair etc). If you must attack, grab their wrist, and stick your fingers in their eyeballs/bite them somewhere, run your nails down their face, and then run. By physically marking them you make it a bit easier for the police to identify them. But my main message is run.

Perhaps girls should get their hands on mace?
Grab the wrist.. run nails down the face, fingers in the eyes... no offence but you have no idea you really dont. The ONLY defense against a knife is an improvised shield I am sure of it .

Barry, lets not get into a competition here. As I said, I know your heart is in the right place. It is good you posted this thread, so chillax. In my younger days I worked security at some very rough clubs. I do know what Im talking about. Ive had knives but always wore a vest and never got slashed but have had plenty of physical encounters. Some of what your suggesting is naive. You're a good guy, and mean well, but the best advice is to run, and get out of the situation. A kung fu kick to the balls will do v little against someone high on drugs. Your leather jacket idea might help a little but your talking about risking severing a major artery. Thats a massive risk.

I have lived many places good and bad and have been unfortunate enough to be attacked several times or maybe I am fortunate to have survived.
It seems there is a guy going around stabbing girls according to reports.
Ok forget the movies.... forget the ufc moves... or silly techniques taught in self defense classes.
The only way to save yourself from a knife attack is with an improvised shield ie: Jacket , towel, dressing gown, etc
I once got attacked down a laneway in Amsterdam and the speed and ferocity of the attack still haunts me to this day, I was lucky enough to some how get my jacket off and wrap it around one arm, the jacket was shredded literally I have some scars where a few cuts got through but I lived.
If you have 5 mins please watch the clip I have linked I would not joke about things like this.
    Barry.
if I have none of that wtf am I gonna do ? I saw yr "etc "but not sure I ll be able to think of something else then run
I say run ...but I m sure ...if ll happen ...which ...I hope not ...to no one ...I can't say now what I ll do ...I mean obviously I d like to catch him tie him up and torture him to blood but that won't happen either ...

Ok they should run does that make you happy. And if they are trapped in a bedroom with one door run straight towards the knife wielding attacker put themselves INTO striking distance and go for eyes or a wrist grab fuck it why not grab the blade of the knife and try an arm bar lol I think your naive and I dont believe you have any real life experience to be suggesting that.
But I shared what I feel is suitable for untrained ladies I can do no more.
    Night all.

what aload of shite, a good strong kick in the balls and run, run hard and fast. Sound the fire alarms in the corridor, makes people come out of their apartments and run to their door.

That's a video on the reality of a knife attack. It is ferocious.

IF there are any escorts/punters that have any specific questions on self-defense, feel free to send me a PM. Im no hero. I just dont want people to have realistic reactions if a knife is pulled on them. As Adrienn, points out above, there might be no time to find a jacket etc. If that happens, you gotta keep as much space between you and the attacker, throw everything you can at them and I mean anything, and try make your way to an exit and RUN.

Yes, some legends amongst you might be able to defend yourself against a knife attack, but theres an 80% chance you'll bleed to death in the process. Run, Run, Run.
