Sorry that I have so many questions, I have tried to find these out by myself but it's hard to get clear information.

It would be amazingly helpful if someone would be kind enough to answer any of these that they know about...

I'm an extremely nervous, anxious type, it's just the way I am. I would love to visit an escort but I'm worried about privacy, discretion and both of our safety (in terms of the law)

1. When you visit an escort, are they usually in an apartment or a hotel?
2. Does the location tend to be discreet? As in, how obvious is it that you're there to visit an escort when you arrive? will be there other people around coming and going (just random people who live in the apartment building/work in the hotel etc.). I'm really worried about having to encounter people while getting in and out of whatever the location is...
3. The legality side of it. I've read some of the other threads here and (granted I understand it seems to be very unlikely to happen) but if the police did enter the place, under this new law you can actually be changed. Where is the line drawn in terms of legality? For example, are you breaking the law just by being inside the location at all? or does an act involving physical sexual contact have to take place?
4. I would be happy to pay the normal fee for her time just for company and for her to strip for me and no sex take place at all, is that illegal?

Basically I would really like to do this, but very very privately and with nobody breaking any laws. Is that simple just not possible in Ireland?

I realise many of you will probably think I'm being too worried/cautious but any help would be greatly appreciated.

Firstly, yes it is now illegal to visit an escort. Being on the premises is possible sufficient guilt. But the risk in minimal to zero if you choose a well reviewed well established girl.

It is my opinion that hotels are a safer bet, as to raid a hotel room is rather difficult for the Gardai. The gardai would prefer to get an easy raid to get a good result. Possibly a known apartment with multiple girls working it. It would maximise their success rate. But to visit a well established girl in her own aoartment would also be safe enough, as the gardai would not really be interested in staking out an apartment that has little footfall... they might, but highly unlikely.

Most, if not all, of these established girls are very discreet. They have to be to be successful.

Your last suggestion of no sex but you being in the nip is still illegal. Any activity the gardai/court deem to be of a sexual nature is illegal. If the girl is proven to be an escort and you are starkers in her apt, your nabbed.

If you're that worried, don't do it. Save your money and try something less stressful like gardening or knitting

I think most people were very nervous the first time. James gives great advice above, but the most important bit is picking a girl with a lot of good reviews.
