I suppose the writing was on the wall as the Gunners have slipped backwards in the last number of years, as far as the PL is concerned anyway. I guess the "Wenger Out" brigade are happy now that they have got their way. I see Patrick Vieira is the bookies favourite to be the next manager there, not sure if he is the right person for the job though.

He might be a fans favourite but has he the experience or the temperament for the job?

They play Burnley at the weekend and if they lose that match it will be curtains for them.

    Would love to see it.

Arsenal losing puts Burnley 2 points behind them.
But can Burnley finish 6th place? It would be fantastic if they can.
Even if the Mighty Claret finish in 7th place. they can still make into the Europa League next season and this would be just amazing for them.

And congrats to Man City for winning the title!
If Southampton win the FA Cup then the team finishing 7th in the PL will miss out on a European place next season unless Arsenal win the Europa League and get a CL place,

The team have the money, they just need to find a different path that they are in, otherwise things are not going to go their way and may drop places as each season goes by.
I do see Arsenal firing a few manager before getting the right one to lead them back up at the top.

Chelsea will beat Southampton and Burnley will hopefully beat Stoke over the weekend to keep that 9 point gap they need.

An interesting possibility might be Joachim Loew. I think he may well call time on the German manager`s position after the World Cup so would he be interested if offered the job?
