Yep had to happen once the player was hell bent on joining Barca, they had to let him go..
Nice profit though for a player bought for 8.5 million so a nice bit of business for Pool..

Was hoping he'd stay till the summer
seeing as he's champions league tied to liverpool and barca are well clear at the top of la liga
but apparently they were worried about his price going up even more during the world cup

No point keeping a player that isn't happy and as I said great profit so money available for maybe a new GK and a Full back,,

Even if he never makes the player he is being hyped up as 15m is nothing to lose in todays market..
