Working as an escort can be incredibly lonely, you have to choose wisely who you confide in, not to mention the stigma still attached to being an escort. A certain % of the general public think that's there nothing wrong in outing an escort, we are an easy target. We have to deal with many issues on a daily basis & unfortunately, the new law does not deal with these issues & puts escorts in further danger & less likely to report attacks. Driving the industry underground solves absolutely nothing nor does it deal or help with the issue of trafficking. Some members of the general public, base their opinion of sex work based on the scandal articles plastered all over the tabloids, they believe that we are druggies or alcoholics, partying 24-7, working to feed our addictions but this is far from the truth. We are everyday normal human beings, trying to make a living, no different to any other working individual.

Why do people think it is better to take hard working peoples money to pay your rent and pay your bills when I can be out doing something i really enjoy while earning enough to pay tax - yep I pay tax and am registered self employed
I no longer claim Housing benefit or free health care so many other benefits I could have continued to claim but why should I when I can have my self respect and earn money doing what I love.
Not every day is a good day when Escorting but for me no day was a good day on the social.
No harm to those on the social trying hard to find work but I prefer to be an Escort then claim off hard working people when I don't need to.
Self respect and fun is where its at for me.
