Would you mock(or would you have to be all solemn and condemn) the sincerely held beliefs of some that encouraged a Manchester bomber and London knifers or would you mock those who question such sincerely held beliefs?

Respecting someone's right to a belief is not the same as respecting a belief. I have no respect for the belief that the earth was created in 7 days, 6000 years ago. And it's reasonable for me to express my view that the belief is ridiculous and the person holding it is a muddle-headed dimwit. But I still respect their right to believe what they want.

Sincerely holding beliefs is ok. Telling others what you believe is ok. Bombing people because of what you believe is not ok. Seems clear to me
