There are plenty of escorts, who pay tax (though I'm sure there are plenty, who don't). We all want a house/flat etc., so you have to have some kind of records....

How would that work?

Just curious but apart from you meaning they pay tax from another non escorting job or from working in the porn industry or getting receipts from clients for actual dinner dates/trips that is less face it more often then not a rarity and a cover for legal reasons but apart from that how on earth could an escort in Ireland or most country's go into a bank manager for a loan to buy a house and produce any kind of paperwork showing earnings and taxes paid from escorting?

Maybe its possible to do that in the Netherlands or parts of the US perhaps but I can’t see any escort being able to produce paperwork to support any application for a loan.

your not seriously suggesting that you come here and work as an escort and then find an accountant either here or abroad to help you find a loophole in the taxation system and pay him for it????That makes no sense.None.

I say this because i know what i would do.I would not bother paying tax on my escort earnings period.Why should i?All of the other escorts dont so why should i.Thats in this country of course.Maybe the two economical wizards here think im being racist now too.

Im not picking you out or trying to show you up but i just found it mildly amusing that you come to this country,work as an escort ,pay no tax "on those earnings" and then complain that you dont like paying all the taxes your paying.I think escorts arent doing too badly financially if you ask me.

Off course not Kat and I was not asking about you specially I was asking in general how would any escort come by such paperwork given the cloak and dagger nature of the job.

My point is that short of the escort having a reg VAT number or issuing or getting punters to sign a receipt like in any transaction then I just don’t see how they can obtain the necessary paperwork or show them having paid any tax from earnings from escorting to apply for a loan for a house. Which is all I asked.

I am sure there are ways around it just like I have ways around it but I was just curious Kat and in no way expecting you to post anything pertaining to you for all the taxmen in the world to read.

And who spoke about loopholes??? I was just suggesting, that best to get an accountant, who would have more advice on what to "call" your profession. The same rules apply to each and every person, no matter what their profession is, as far as the taxman is concerned. Escorting, porn or modelling is not illegal, not in the UK where my residence is anyway. As soon as any money, I earn in Ireland touches down on the plane in the UK with me especially, if it goes to the bank, is eligable for UK tax, which is part of the EU, just like Ireland.

Each escort will decide for themselves weather they will or they won't pay taxes.

To what I have heard from you guys, when I'm in Ireland, the UK and Ireland are run reasonably similarly, hence I tought my point may have had some validity. It's not criminal to have a discussion.
