Ex-mods, God bless 'em, appreciate them yes, and pity them even more. Like a bull that has lost his balls to become a bullock, like an Abe Simpson in his second childhood that no one listens to anymore, like a eunuch in the harem, they hang around, and sometimes even pay us the odd visit from mod heaven which lies across the road (a virtual wasteland), trying to relive former glories when they were young and someone was paying attention to them.
You gotta love' em and have a little wry smile, at the same time.
