While it was disappointing to watch Ireland play, especially in the first half, it was a pleasure to watch New Zealand play.
We could not keep a hand on the ball and we had chances but way too many mistakes. To put a smile back on my face
I actually turned channels to watch lip sync battle before turning back on the game.

Great to see the crowd giving an emotional Rory Best their appreciation for 14 years in the green jersey.

Final score 46-14 and could have been more for the All Blacks. A sad end to Joe Schmidt and Rory Best`s involvement with Ireland. Sexton, Murray, Earls, O`Mahony and Kearney have also played their last WC match and quite possibly some of them will not be seen in a green shirt again. Ireland`s record in World Cups is now 9 appearances and still have never gone further than the QFs. At this stage I would be doubtful that they will ever reach a SF. Andy Farrell will have a massive task on his hands rebuilding confidence in the Irish camp ahead of the Six Nations next year.

Lovely to see the crowd reaction. 124 appearances as a front row is phenomenal He certainly gave all for his country. A new era in Irish rugby beckons

I think England have a real chance of beating them in the SF next week. TBH neither England or NZ were really tested today and next week`s match could be a titanic battle.

I can't see this All Black team being beat to be honest. I know we were poor today but I still think they will beat England and go all the way.

England v NZ will be a war of attrition, not for the faint hearted. I don’t think NZ haven’t hit top gear yet Hope NZ win

Between today`s match and the poor performances by the soccer team, it`s been a depressing week to be an Irish supporter. Things can only (hopefully) get better.
