In this WC Scotland were hammered by Ireland who in turn were hammered by NZ who were in turn hammered by England who were in turn hammered (on the scoreboard anyway) by SA. Some changes of fortune there.

I'm guessing that this is the first time that a team that were beaten in the group stages went on to win the competition?

In the press conference kolisi was asked that as a child did u ever dream of winning the world cup, his answer was as a child the only thing i dreamt of was where would my next meal come from. A great day for him today.

Anyone watching Kolisi would have a lump in their throat, it has been an unbelievable journey for him and so many others. Nelson Mandela , Steve Beko and all those who fought and died for basic human rights must be smiling down on the incredible distance their great nation has come , another massive moment in bringing equality to this crazy world
