After Uruguay winning yesterday maybe Canada will take hope from that i think Italy will be way too strong but Canada have improved. England should win by 40 plus points if they show up

Chris Farrell partners Garry Ringrose in midfield as Peter O'Mahony is fit to start in the back row. Joey Carbery is named on the bench following his recovery from his ankle injury but Robbie Henshaw is again left out of the matchday squad.

Ireland matchday squad to play Japan:

Kearney, Earls, Ringrose, Farrell, Stockdale, Carty, Murray, Healy, Best, Furlong, Henderson, James Ryan, O'Mahony, van der Flier, Stander.

Replacements: Cronin, Kilcoyne, Porter, Beirne, Ruddock, McGrath, Carbery, Larmour

I thought Carberry would start It’s a strong starting 15 , can’t be complacent against japan

Italy have as expected dominated the match so far and lead 17-0 at half time.
    The Truth is out there.

Italy win 48-7 after scoring 7 tries. Canada were very poor and will do well to avoid finishing bottom of their pool.

Less than 3 minutes in and an American player is off due to injury.
This game may bring a few more shocking moments.

Also found it hard to watch at the start with England not playing in the usual white shirt.

Shame I am unable to watch these games being on so early and also over lapping with work.
But I am determined to watch the England match tomorrow.

Italy v Canada - 8:45am (Italy to win, my guess 25-15)
England v United State - 11:45 (England to win, my guess, 45-10)
    England 45-7 USA
My closest guess so far, I was just off by 3 points.

England should have kicked the ball out of play after 80 minutes.
    It would have been 45-0

England were just too strong today and top the group with 2 bonus points on the table.

No joy for either North American team today. Both conceded 7 tries and lost on very similar scorelines. Highly unlikely that either of them will finish in the top 3 in their pools and so qualify automatically for the next World Cup. England did play better today than against Tonga but their next 2 matches will be against much stronger opposition so we should have a better idea of how far they can go in the tournament.
    The Truth is out there.

I see Jordi Murphy pulled from ulster team tonight. Speculation Conan in trouble and Murphy going to replace him I thought initially Murphy was unlucky not to make original squad
