Some might take a day or 2 off during a tour but usually not that many days.

Strange.

I think once you pay for an ad you can neither cancel it nor postpone it.
EI (like escorts) never give money back.

So, if you pay for a block of ads, and need a break, cannot get accommodation, have an emergency etc. you can only put up “not available.”
Yes, it might be “advanced advertising” but very expensive.

I would expect “not available” to change very shortly when plans became concrete.
