I have the egg and onion sandwiches made and the flask is out . . Meeting zilch and his Mickey for a few pints beforehand . .

Just hope zilch bought a ticket for Mickey . . Would be a shame if he missed the match

Plenty of upsets so far in the championship and there was almost another one yesterday evening as the Cork footballers just scraped past Tipp. I dread to think what Kerry will do to them in the Munster final next month.

Cavan Monaghan is tricky enough to call . Monaghan will be favourites but it's in Breffni Park and when they met in the league it was a low scoring draw.

Mayo are like a youngwan on the rag. They'll have to use the backdoor.

Does anyone know what McGeeney said to the linesman? Very long ban so it mustn't have been good
