I think this is one of those situations where he's dammed if he does and he's dammed if he doesn't. Nóirín O'Sullivan appears to be way out of her depth in her role as Commisioner, but everyone is afraid to say anything about her competence or lack off, in case they get a backlash from the feminist PC brigade. I'm not a massive fan of Mary Lou McDonnald, but fair dues to her for looking for some action to be taken. She will probably be suspened from duty on full pay!!
