RIP Martin McGuinness, There are no good guys in war as war brings out the worst in humanity. It is easy to judge from afar as the absurdity of the situation didn't effect you. He did however find a way of breaking the cycle of hatred and violence and Ireland is a better place today for this

He wasn't well, so it hasn't come as a surprise. I don't feel I know enough to give my opinion on him as a man, but my heart is with his family.

He seemed like a lovely person and growing up in Derry during those times would make people do a lot of things. He did a lot for peace and it's sad that he had to die so young.
