Obviously escorts check themselves very regularly for STDs, I guess the question is how often? In some countries (ie. Austria) where prostitution is legal it is mandatory for girls working in FKKs to get checked weekly, here in Ireland it probably is up to the girls to decide, but I would guess every 2-3 weeks?

Weekly checks would be pointless as it takes 2 weeks for some std's to show up. I used to get checked every 3 months, but the advice I got from the clinic in Dublin was to go every 6 months unless I was worried about something like HIV and then I could go asap.

When you use condoms all the time the risks are much lower and obviously us not being innocent in all this, we know what to look for with the more obvious symptoms. If a man looks like he might have a problem then personally I would point it out to them and stop the appointment before doing anything. I have had one or too tell me that I have upset them and that it was a passion killer, but seriously... warts on a willy are a bit of a passion killer for me too! I just hope they did the right thing and went to see a doctor like I suggested.

If I am right, the HIV test only show your healthy-result for 6 weeks before. And if You got HIV virus in this period it wont be show on this check, you should take another one. 2x6 weeks and you are negative it should be ok if you didnt have unprotected sex on these period.
